The Normal Discount margin is in the 70% range of market value (Ex. Market Value = $140,000, Investor Price = $100,000). This is pretty standard when having to close on a home and then put it back up for sale.
What if my Mortgage pay-off is higher than this?
Short Sale. This process is complicated, but essentially if accepted, your Lender agrees to take less for pay-off than the current balance. Amounts vary and depend on Lender cooperation. If needed we can help with this, too.
